2. Bewley’s and Beyond

I’m really looking forward to next Thursday’s gig at Bewley’s (€10).

Myself and The Launch Crew have been rehearsing new tracks from “Vergions”, so we’ll continue with our aim of never playing the same set twice.

Those of you who are going to the Electric Picnic can catch me at the Word Tent on Friday 8pm and Saturday 2pm. These are both solo spoken word slots but on Sunday, early evening, The Launch Crew will do a full set at Trenchtown.

It would be great to see some familiar faces in the audience for these gigs.

3. Next Radio Show

Because I’m on annual leave from DSFM, Beuno did one of his occasional retrospective shows and played his selection from recent oTv live recordings. I hope to have that up on site by next week. For the next two Thursdays we will be repeating my oTv specials featuring music by recent guests.

I’ll be back live on Thursday 9th Sept when my guests will be Hooligan.

2. Selected Live

Because of the band break up, my guests, Relief, were sadly unable to appear on the show last Thursday. We rarely get the chance to play some of the excellent live stuff that taken place on the programme and this one features performances between January and June 2010. Please note, my selection is based on the quality of the recordings, the variety of instruments and with one ear towards an ample share of female vocals. Beuno will present his selection during August
